DESCRIPTION:In a vibrant gathering hosted jointly by Bright Start Islington and AL-ABRAR FOUNDATION\, families with children under five from Finsbury Park and Tollington Wards were introduced to a wide range of essential services they were previously unaware of. A standout feature was the participatory budgeting session\, where families had the rare opportunity to voice their priorities for funding allocation—a unique approach that truly engaged the community. The event was highly informative\, empowering parents with knowledge and pathways to access Bright Start’s services\, and it successfully achieved its goals of awareness-raising and fostering community involvement.
